Living below the poverty line is always difficult, and can be downright miserable in the winter, when it’s cold. In this campaign, we worked with local schools and shops to provide warm winter clothes to city students. We collected new clothes from local shops and set up a pop-up shop in the mall. Student paid for the items by showing their student cards. Instagram, Snapchat and Facebook were used to promote the campaign and generate buzz. 

The Challenge

With this particular challenge we had to collect winter clothes and have them dropped to local donation drop spots. The drop spots needed to be local and visible to as many people as we can get it in front of. We also had to get the word out and collect as many warm clothes as possible in 65 days. 

What We Did

As we strategized with our very well thought out team members, the approach we took first is we talked and communicated online with many local business owners. Each business consisted of large and small companies to create local drop spots for each and every type of business and patron. We showed the business owner the advantages of helping us set drop spot locations in their store. With our top design team, we crafted social media campaigns and got major exposure online and placed them on the Internet using the best resources on the web to get the word out. We designed marketing pages and collected an email list with over 3300 donators in the local area. We also kept locals abreast of new drop spot locations as they became available.
What We Achieved

We became friendly and but relationships with local business owners, schools and the residence of the area. We built successful campaigns across the web collecting 1000's of donators enabling us to keep everyone abreast of new drop spots via social media text and email. In less than a month we collected thousands of warm clothing items for the less fortunate. We crated a donators list to use each and every year. Next year we hope to double this number so we can brag even more!
